Fertility indicators

In 1989, Cyprus's fertility indicators decreased by 5.2% compared to 1988, reaching 2.36.

Cyprus ranks 1st out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.3% (from 2.52 in 1984).
