Fertility indicators

In 1989, Malta's fertility indicators increased by 1.9% compared to 1988, reaching 2.10.

Malta ranks 4th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.7% (from 1.95 in 1984).
