Fertility indicators

In 1989, Lithuania's fertility indicators decreased by 2.0% compared to 1988, reaching 1.98.

Lithuania ranks 8th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.3% (from 2.07 in 1984).
