Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2016, Cyprus's main indicators increased by 1.7% compared to 2015, reaching 8.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 30.2%.

Cyprus ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 149.3% (from 3.4% in 2011).
