At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 8.9% compared to 2024, reaching 9.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Denmark ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.0% (from 10.0% in 2020).
