Fertility indicators

In 1998, Estonia's fertility indicators decreased by 3.0% compared to 1997, reaching 1.28.

Estonia ranks 18th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.1% (from 1.49 in 1993).
