Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Estonia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 72.5% compared to 2009, reaching 10.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Estonia ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 813.4% (from 1.1% in 2005).
