Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Greece's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 15.4% compared to 2009, reaching 10.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.4%.

Greece ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 38.5% (from 7.3% in 2005).
