Fertility indicators

In 1999, Slovakia's fertility indicators decreased by 2.9% compared to 1998, reaching 1.33.

Slovakia ranks 15th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 20.4% (from 1.67 in 1994).
