At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 9.0% compared to 2020, reaching 44.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.1% (from 38.1% in 2016).
