Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 2008, reaching 40.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.0.

Latvia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.1% (from 39.0 in 2004).
