Population structure indicators at national level

In 2010, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.5% compared to 2009, reaching 40.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.3.

Latvia ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 39.3 in 2005).
