Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.0% compared to 2020, reaching 35.6.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 35.4.

Latvia ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.2% (from 32.3 in 2016).
