Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Latvia's main indicators decreased by 4.4% compared to 2020, reaching 6.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Latvia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 162.8% (from 2.4% in 2016).
