Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2021, Latvia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 26.9% compared to 2020, reaching 2,779.

Latvia ranks 21st out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 56.3% (from 6,365 in 2016).
