Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 0.7% compared to 2020, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Latvia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 15.4% (from 17.5% in 2016).
