In 2021, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 32.8% compared to 2020, reaching 822.

Lithuania ranks 24th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 69.1% (from 2,657 in 2016).
