Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2019, Luxembourg's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 19.2% compared to 2018, reaching 10.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.1%.

Luxembourg ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 82.3% (from 6.0% in 2014).
