Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Luxembourg's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 2.7% compared to 2009, reaching 2.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.4%.

Luxembourg ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 103.4% (from 1.4% in 2005).
