Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Luxembourg's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 3.0% compared to 2023, reaching 14.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 25.2%.

Luxembourg ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 109.2% (from 7.0% in 2019).
