Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Netherlands's main indicators increased by 15.0% compared to 2022, reaching 17.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Netherlands ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 137.9% (from 7.4% in 2018).
