In 2024, Bulgaria's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 0.1% compared to 2023, reaching 86.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 68.4%.

Bulgaria ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 84.1% in 2019).
