Fertility indicators

In 1998, Spain's fertility indicators decreased by 1.7% compared to 1997, reaching 1.13.

Spain ranks 23rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.3% (from 1.26 in 1993).
