Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2021, Spain's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.8% compared to 2020, reaching 40.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 33.6%.

Spain ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.2% (from 35.7% in 2016).
