At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 9.3% compared to 2024, reaching 19.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Sweden ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.4% (from 18.7% in 2020).
