At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 12.6% compared to 2022, reaching 13.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.6%.

Sweden ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.8% (from 14.6% in 2018).
