At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.4% compared to 2023, reaching 18.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Croatia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.4% (from 17.2% in 2019).
