At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Lithuania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.2% compared to 2023, reaching 19.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Lithuania ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.7% (from 18.0% in 2019).
