Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Cyprus's main indicators increased by 14.3% compared to 2021, reaching 17.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.2%.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 90.4% (from 8.9% in 2017).
