At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.4% compared to 2020, reaching 11.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Denmark ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.5% (from 8.5% in 2016).
