Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Denmark's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 26.8% compared to 2023, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Denmark ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 98.6% (from 7.1% in 2019).
