Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Finland's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 0.2% compared to 2023, reaching 20.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Finland ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 37.0% (from 14.8% in 2019).
