Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2025, Estonia's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex decreased by 1.8% compared to 2024, reaching 21.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.9%.

Estonia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.4% (from 22.8% in 2020).
