Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2025, Greece's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex increased by 2.2% compared to 2024, reaching 27.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.9%.

Greece ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.4% (from 27.4% in 2020).
