At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Finland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 8.6% compared to 2020, reaching 12.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Finland ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.3% (from 12.3% in 2016).
