Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Finland's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.5% compared to 2008, reaching 27.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.4.

Finland ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.2% (from 25.7 in 2004).
