Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Finland's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 1.5% compared to 2009, reaching 27.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Finland ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.1% (from 26.9% in 2005).
