In 2017, Greece's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 56.2% compared to 2016, reaching 19,593.

Greece ranks 13th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 65.9% (from 57,476 in 2012).
