Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2014, Ireland's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 5.3% compared to 2013, reaching 27,679.

Ireland ranks 15th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.6% (from 27,502 in 2009).
