Population structure indicators at national level

In 2016, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.9% compared to 2015, reaching 28.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.2.

Romania ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.3% (from 25.8 in 2011).
