Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Romania's main indicators increased by 8.4% compared to 2022, reaching 47.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 45.4%.

Romania ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.4% (from 41.8% in 2018).
