Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Estonia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 3.1% compared to 2023, reaching 42.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 25.2%.

Estonia ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 33.1% (from 31.7% in 2019).
