Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Latvia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 5.3% compared to 2023, reaching 45.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 25.2%.

Latvia ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.3% (from 40.9% in 2019).
