Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Estonia's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 15.0% compared to 2023, reaching 7.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Estonia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.5% (from 6.2% in 2019).
