Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Greece's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 1.8% compared to 2023, reaching 3.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Greece ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.4% (from 4.0% in 2019).
