Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Spain's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 1.7% compared to 2023, reaching 25.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 25.2%.

Spain ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 42.4% (from 17.9% in 2019).
