Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Greece's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 6.3% compared to 2023, reaching 51.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 47.5%.

Greece ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 63.8% (from 31.3% in 2019).
