Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2024, Portugal's main indicators increased by 4.4% compared to 2023, reaching 65.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 47.5%.

Portugal ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.4% (from 53.8% in 2019).
