Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Latvia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 2.2% compared to 2023, reaching 55.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 47.5%.

Latvia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.9% (from 53.4% in 2019).
