Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Estonia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 22.1% compared to 2023, reaching 38.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 47.5%.

Estonia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 76.8% (from 22.0% in 2019).
